EIRA Welcomes Shanna Lucchesi as Road Safety Innovation Project Manager

We are pleased to announce that Shanna Lucchesi has joined EIRA as our new Road Safety Innovation Project Manager, bringing with her nearly 15 years of experience in transport planning, road infrastructure design, and road safety within global and multi-stakeholder projects.

Shanna became part of the EIRA team in June 2025 and is based in Porto, Portugal. In her new role, she supports the implementation of initiatives that enhance the safety, sustainability, and resilience of road networks both within and beyond the EU.

She holds a Ph.D. in transportation economics and has a strong background in technical coordination, stakeholder engagement, and applying innovative solutions to complex road safety challenges.

We are excited to have Shanna on board and look forward to the expertise and energy she brings to our projects.
